The coating fabric is closely woven and smooth to the hand, holding its line rather than collapsing at the shoulder. A notched lapel and flap pockets keep the front uncluttered, and the sleeves finish with buttoned straps at the cuff. Worn open over knitwear it reads relaxed, closed over tailoring it reads formal.
