A plain cap toe Derby with open lacing, where the lace panels sit over the front of the shoe rather than into it. That construction gives a little more room across the instep and makes it the easier of the two classic lace-ups to wear all day. The upper has a deep polished finish that shades darker toward the toe. A rounded toe and a low heel keep it quiet.
