A pintuck is a narrow stitched fold, and here it runs the full length of the front of each leg, holding a crease permanently rather than relying on pressing. It gives the trouser a sharp vertical line even in a soft cloth, which is what keeps a wide leg from looking shapeless. Belt loops, side pockets and welt pockets at the back. Wear with a tucked blouse and a heel or a loafer.
