An extended waistband closes with two buttons above the fly and pulls in with a buckled tab at each hip, so the trousers sit high and stay where they are put without a belt. Double pleats release fabric across the thigh, and the crease runs the length of the leg down to a turn-up at the hem. The cloth is a dry, matte wool-look twill with no sheen. Wear with a tucked shirt and loafers, or with a roll neck and boots.
